Technical Manager / Plant Manager (m/f/d) Biogas Production
Founded in 2016, the DAH Group is a fully integrated energy and agricultural company that produces biogas, biomethane, electricity and heat from renewable energy sources and generates an annual turnover of more than EUR 100 million with its approx. 400 employees.
With its 28 biogas plants, the DAH Group currently produces approx. 290 million kWh of electricity per year and feeds approx. 805 million kWh of biomethane into the natural gas grid with its biomethane plants. Headquartered in Oranienburg, Brandenburg, the company also manages more than 20,000 hectares of agricultural land. These are divided into five large agricultural units, under which 34 farms are grouped, which provide a significant proportion of the substrate supply for the Group.
Your tasks
- The DAH Group stands for sustainable energy generation, innovative technologies and the responsible use of resources. To strengthen our team at the Röblingen site, we are looking for a committed manager with technical vision and enthusiasm for the biogas industry.
- Management of a biogas plant with regard to technical, business and biological processes as well as coordination of work processes at the site
- Interface to the specialist departments in Oranienburg to ensure plant operation in compliance with licensing and environmental law – in compliance with BauGB, BImSchG and EEG
- Monitoring of all processes, documentation of measurement and work results
- Responsibility for cost and revenue planning
- Preparation of environmental reports and deadline monitoring
- Technical and disciplinary management of the team and efficient resource planning
- Optimization of processes – also with regard to quality standards and occupational safety
- Supporting exciting technical development and conversion projects at the plant
- Organization of inspections and coordination with authorities
- Contact person (m/f/d) for raw material suppliers and fermentation residue customers
Your qualifications
- Completed engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical and plant engineering or environmental technology
- Alternatively, a sound training as a technician or master craftsman or a degree in agricultural sciences
- Proven expertise in the field of biogas and special sensitivity for the complex and sensitive processes of the plant
- Several years of professional experience with initial management experience
- Competent appearance paired with a cooperative management style
- Confident use of the MS Office package
- Excellent written and oral German language skills
- Class B driving license
