Technical Managing Director (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Developing and implementing technical strategies and concepts to ensure a sustainable, efficient and future-proof energy and supply infrastructure
- Managing and further developing projects in the field of renewable energies and the digitalization of our supply networks
- Overall responsibility for the operational management of the supply areas (electricity, gas, water and district heating) and ensuring efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly processes
- Planning, coordinating and implementing major infrastructure projects while adhering to deadlines, budgets, quality standards and sustainability criteria
- Ensuring compliance with all legal, technical and safety requirements and carrying out regular inspections
- Managing, motivating and developing an interdisciplinary technical team and promoting professional and personal skills
- Planning, controlling and monitoring the technical budget, including identifying potential cost reductions and efficiency improvements
- Close cooperation with other managing directors (m/f/d), municipalities and authorities as well as external partners (m/f/d) for the successful implementation of common goals
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed technical studies as an engineer (m/f/d) in the field of energy technology, supply management or a comparable qualification
- Training as a network engineer (m/f/d) is desirable
- Business management expertise is an advantage
- Several years of management experience in the technical management of a utility company or a comparable area
- Sound knowledge in the areas of energy supply, grid technology, renewable energies and digitalization
- Knowledge of the energy industry and regulation; experience with legal framework conditions (EnWG, EEG, KWKG, Metering Point Operation Act and other public supply standards) and regulatory processes
- Strong strategic and analytical skills to successfully manage technical and commercial issues as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and approach
- High level of leadership and social skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop a technical team and to communicate complex issues both internally and to external stakeholders (m/f/d) in an understandable way
