• With a great deal of commitment and initiative, you will manage our centrally located commercial properties throughout Germany hand in hand with the commercial property management team. You will assume technical responsibility for a handful of high-quality commercial properties. You will work closely with Asset Management to ensure that the properties are managed sustainably (ESG) and to the satisfaction of the owner and tenants.
• You are always on site and inspect your properties: You inspect major technical measures and assess the technical building systems and building fabric for their condition, cost-effectiveness and compliance with all requirements.
• You will advise Commercial Property Management and our Asset Management team, as well as the service providers, on all technical matters.
• You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling facility management and service providers – including checking all timely maintenance and expert inspections or other official inspections.
• You will manage maintenance measures or tenant fit-outs from the planning and creation of specifications through the tendering process to the selection and monitoring of service providers and checking invoices.
• You negotiate architectural and service contracts, keep an eye on warranty periods at all times and assert any claims in a timely manner.
• Your technical expertise is required in the preparation of technical budgets and maintenance planning and their implementation.
• You will also advise on the integration of properties into our portfolio in the event of acquisitions or sales (documentation maintenance).

• You have gained knowledge in the fields of plant engineering and building construction through your technical and real estate-related studies (FH or Bachelor) and your professional experience in a comparable position.
• Alternatively, you have completed training as a state-certified technician, e.g. state-certified structural engineering technician, or master craftsman (m/f/d) in the field of structural engineering, supply engineering or electrical engineering and have many years of comparable professional experience.
• An additional real estate-specific qualification can be helpful for some issues, as well as existing professional experience in technical property management and the supervision of technical building measures.
• You are well acquainted with real estate business contexts.
• You are confident and respectful in your dealings with customers and employees and have good negotiating skills.
• You will work on measures or tasks in parallel and can apply your skills of good planning and organization.
• We currently work with the current Microsoft products, as well as SAP and ORCA. Previous knowledge is an advantage.
• If you have a class B or 3 driving license, you can also drive to some properties in your own car or a pool vehicle.

• We support you in your daily work through an in-house seminar program in soft skills as well as professional training.
