Technical sales representative

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for active direct sales of technical products and services in the private customer segment (e.g. PV systems, battery storage, heat pumps, wallboxes, etc.).
  • You are responsible for achieving the planned sales targets (sales and turnover).
  • You are the main contact person for our private customers from initial contact to closing the sale.
  • You assess the customer’s building conditions on site, recommend suitable products and solutions (e.g. system size) and roughly design the products (e.g. number of PV modules, storage size, etc.).
  • You will provide technical product and customer advice and establish and optimize sales processes.
  • You will develop a sales strategy for the products you are responsible for and contribute to the further development and implementation of product strategies.
  • You will work closely with our trade partners and various internal interfaces (internal sales, product management, etc.).

Your qualifications

  • Completed technical training with further commercial training (technical specialist) or comparable qualification
  • Resilient experience in technical sales, in field sales with proven success in new customer acquisition
  • Sound technical understanding of technical products in the energy industry (e.g. PV systems, battery storage systems, heat pumps, wall boxes, smart meters and dynamic electricity tariffs, etc.)
  • Driving license class B/3
  • Strong external customer orientation with negotiating skills, goal- and solution-oriented thinking and creativity for new approaches
  • Networker with an open personality, positive attitude and clear communication
