As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. Your tasks
- You check and approve planning documents for complex systems such as supply, mixing, storage, generation and charging infrastructures up to commissioning – always in accordance with current guidelines such as VDE-AR-N 4100, 4105, 4110, the NAV and our TABs
- You advise on all technical issues relating to grid connection inquiries, large-scale battery storage, generation systems, charging infrastructure and innovative future topics
- You process inquiries about controllable consumption devices in accordance with Section 14a EnWG and contribute your expertise
- You support installers with technical issues such as VDE guidelines, NAV, our TABs, grid connections and metering systems – and take care of our installer directory
- You coordinate grid connection and feed-in inquiries, working closely with the Basic Planning and Customer Stations departments
Your qualifications
- You have completed training/studies in the field of electrical engineering or have a comparable qualification at master/technician level
- You are familiar with technical regulations such as the VDE guidelines and TABs, at best you already have knowledge of the relevant laws and standards, in particular EEG, KWKG, EnWG and MsbG
- Ideally, you already have experience in the planning and testing of grid connections, generation systems and charging infrastructure
- You are a strong communicator and enjoy working with internal and external partners
- You work independently and in a structured manner
