Your Contribution to TenneT
You will ensure the reliable operation and monitoring of SDH and packet-based telecommunications assets (MPLS) as well as optical transport networks (WDM/OTN)
You will actively participate in incident and change management and independently resolve incidents in coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to the stable operation of the communications network
You will independently monitor and analyze SDH and MPLS technologies and document events, faults, and corrective actions in the central ticket and documentation system
You will configure and connect communication services and commission them
In working groups, you actively contribute to the conceptual development of the communications network
The Field Operations AC department performs field work such as maintenance, overhauls, and small-scale projects for AC systems, including asset data, documentation, and standardization. It assumes technical roles in larger projects and operates communications and automation networks. The unit performs detailed engineering services for various systems and provides central technical support to other operational units. Clear performance goals and OKRs are defined for management purposes.
Your Profile
You have a college degree, for example in electrical engineering or computer science, or a comparable qualification
Initial experience with network technologies such as SDH and MPLS is a plus
You are willing to participate in on-call duty and optional shift work
Very good German language skills (at least C1 level) and good English language skills round out your profile.
