Join us as a trainee engineer for high-voltage systems (m/f/d) During your 18-month program, you will rotate through various positions in the company and gain an overview of our internal structures and processes. Based on an individual development plan, we will specifically promote your skills, which you will draw on in your day-to-day work. In addition, regular feedback meetings are held with the help of our HR development team to identify and plan further development opportunities. Your tasks

During your trainee program, you will get to know the field of high-voltage technology and systems at AVU. Through rotation, you will not only carry out activities in your future target position in the high-voltage systems department, but will also work in other areas such as grid operation, planning and construction as well as grid and system management. You will also gain an insight into the areas of order accounting, occupational safety, grid sales and service. This will allow you to become more familiar with the tasks and work processes in these areas. Within your projects, you will be involved in the planning, construction and operation of high and medium-voltage systems. In addition to the transformers in our substations, this also includes 110kV overhead lines and cable systems. From planning to implementation, you will work on developing reliable and efficient solutions. To ensure that our systems can be seamlessly integrated into the existing grid, you will also be responsible for coordinating technical interfaces with upstream grid operators. In addition, you will be responsible for managing construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that the systems are always operational and guarantee a continuous, reliable power supply.


Your qualifications

You have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering (ideally with a focus on energy technology) or in another related technical field. We assume that you are interested in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. You have had initial contact with project management, ideally in the context of a construction project. You are open to new ideas and approaches and enjoy working with others on interdisciplinary projects. Your strong communication skills round off your profile.
