Trainee (f/m/d) Greenwashing & Climate Neutrality Pledge for the area of ecological consumer advice and market surveillance

Your tasks
- In the Ecological Consumer Advice and Market Surveillance team, we analyze environmental claims made by companies, research the background and support legal and political processes to regulate greenwashing. They make a concrete contribution to uncovering misleading environmental promises made by companies and protecting consumers from greenwashing!
- Supporting our activities on the topic of greenwashing and combating misleading advertising that suggests alleged environmental benefits
- Preparation of letters of formal notice for identified greenwashing
- Background research with scientific claim and creation of own texts on alleged environmental benefits of products and services
- Supporting legislation to prevent greenwashing in the future
- Assistance with communication, press and public relations work
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree in environmental, energy or political sciences or a comparable course of study
- Strong interest in consumer, environmental or competition law
- Enjoy analytical research and scientific work
- Very good communication skills in German and a good command of English
- Structured and independent way of working and ability to work in a team
