Your tasks
- In our 18-month trainee program, which starts on 1 October 2025, you will #gasklarvoraus into the future of energy and shape a sustainable energy industry with us. We support your personal and professional development with our seminar curriculum – especially for career starters. You will get to know our entire company and pass through many specialist departments. Always closely accompanied by dedicated experts. You will strengthen the team spirit in the joint trainee project, in regular trainee meetings, at our employee events and in the trainee social project!
- Your target area and home port, where you will mainly be deployed, is the “Compressor Operations” department with a focus on “Biogas Feed-In Plants / Renewable Gases”. The team acts as a link and first point of contact for our grid connection customers. It provides support in the implementation of sustainable connection concepts to our existing grid for the feed-in of renewable gases such as biomethane and hydrogen. In this way, the team is already making a significant contribution towards a climate-friendly gas supply.
- You will get to know all the important topics and contacts in the team, while you will continuously take on your own tasks and projects throughout the trainee program and thus be familiarized with your target position in the best possible way. The following activities and challenges await you:
- Involvement in the initiation and support of grid connection projects – from the initial inquiry through to commissioning
- Participation in the development and evaluation of specific customer and grid situations from various sectors with regard to the technical and economic implementation of feed-in concepts (e.g. green hydrogen, biomethane)
- You represent customer interests within Thyssengas and proactively shape the dialog with various stakeholders
- As a technical contact person, you will be involved in internal and external project groups and the technical standards for our feed-in plants
- You will provide support in ensuring contract management, taking into account technical, regulatory and legal issues
Your qualifications
- A recent degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology or similar
- Ideally, you have gained initial practical work experience, e.g. internships, in the energy industry and/or in a gas technology environment
- You are passionate about the energy industry and are willing to familiarize yourself with topics relating to pipeline-based gas transport
- You have a talent for planning and organization as well as a high problem-solving orientation
- You work on your own initiative and use your negotiating skills and strong communication skills skillfully
