Trainee (m/f/d) in the field of power grid

Your tasks

  • In our trainee program, you can expect exciting practical assignments in various areas of FairNetz GmbH, such as grid development & asset management, planning & coordination and the practical operation of the electricity grid. During your time in the various departments, you will be actively involved and gain an insight into everyday working life. You will also develop an understanding of the interdepartmental relationships and processes in the three specialist areas. Program duration: 18 months Permanent employment contract You will work intensively on various projects and get to know the different specialist areas of the electricity division. The top insights here include:
  • Grid development: Independent processing of issues and development of concepts and solutions in the areas of cross-divisional target grid planning
  • Grid model development: Independent and future-oriented calculation of the integration possibilities of photovoltaic systems and electric charging stations using the digital twin of FairNetz
  • Electricity grid planning: from detailed planning and customer advice on technical issues to the management and control of cost budgets, scheduling and compliance with technical specifications
  • Monitoring and securing the energy supply grid: support with the digitalization of the grids, integration of measurement data through to the further development of grid operation management in low voltage

Your qualifications

  • Completed Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: engineering, energy technology, electrical engineering, environmental engineering or similar
  • Enthusiasm for energy industry topics, digitalization and agile working methods and ideally some practical experience
  • Team spirit, communication skills, enthusiasm, independence and a sense of responsibility
  • Good IT user skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • Class B driving license

  • Our remuneration is based on the TV-V collective agreement and, in the case of RSV, the WBO collective agreement. Each job is evaluated and remunerated according to performance.
