About us

Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences is a practice-oriented, family-friendly university in the Rhine-Main region. We are characterized by outstanding study conditions, high quality and excellent performance in research, teaching, transfer and continuing education. We live a personal and lively culture of learning and discussion on campus as a place of encounter. We cooperate with the scientific community and with companies in Germany and abroad and promote our own young scientists.
The NETZ technology transfer center was founded with funding from the Free State of Bavaria, in particular to strengthen regional SMEs in the development of innovations in the field of sustainable energy. Together with companies and local authorities, we want to contribute to a successful energy transition in Bavaria. The aim is to achieve a climate-neutral energy supply in commerce, industry, municipal facilities and private households. This requires innovative concepts to increase the use of renewable energies and reduce overall energy consumption. https://www.th-ab.de/netz
