Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
- Working with highly radioactive materials as well as alpha, beta, and gamma radiation requires a great deal of expertise and, above all, the right facilities and equipment. This is the only way to meet the high safety standards for people and the environment.
- Technical responsibility for the electrical and pneumatic systems of the plants to be manufactured, in collaboration with mechanical design
- Organizational responsibility for the production of electrical and pneumatic systems within customer projects, in collaboration with project managers and manufacturing
- Preparation of circuit diagrams and technical documentation
- Collaboration with external electrical contractors in the planning and implementation of projects
- Providing technical support and guidance to electrical specialists
- Quality assurance and testing of electrical systems
- Responsibility for the selection and standardization of components, tools, and equipment
- Organization of maintenance and service work
Your qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, such as a state-certified technician or electronics technician
- Training as a certified electrician (VEFK) is a plus
- Solid knowledge of electrical design
- Proficiency in EPLAN P8 required
- Knowledge of machine safety is desirable
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Customer-oriented mindset and approach
- Strong analytical skills and technical understanding
- Very good German and English skills
- Class B driver’s license
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
