Employee Customer Service & Energy Billing (m/f/d)
Stadtwerke Böblingen guarantees a reliable energy and water supply and sees itself as a driving force in the design and realization of the energy and heating transition in Böblingen and the region. With our team of around 125 employees, in addition to our supply mandate, we also play our part in making Böblingen a place worth living in as a swimming pool and park operator. We are looking for you for the variety of tasks: strengthen us with your know-how and help us shape the future viability of Böblingen and our municipal utilities.
Your tasks
- Personal, telephone and written customer support for energy, water, parking and our pools
- All-round support for customer processes in the front and back office. You will support our customers from initial contact through to billing – this includes supply offers, billing and invoicing processes, maintenance of master data, registrations, transfers and deregistrations as well as complaints management.
- Preparation and implementation of consumption billing for water, heat, electricity, gas, energy-related services and parking
- Independent processing of invoice corrections and billing-related customer enquiries
- Contact person for finance and accounting in matters relating to consumption billing
- Managing outstanding receivables, carrying out credit checks, blocking dunning, billing and direct debits, automatic dunning run according to dunning levels, granting and monitoring deferrals and installment agreements
Your qualifications
- Completed commercial vocational training (e.g. industrial or office clerk)
- Experience in customer service, ideally in the energy sector
- Interest in the implementation of commercial processes and contract law issues (due dates, late payments, receivables)
- Knowledge of billing software (e.g. Schleupen CS.VA, SAP-ISU or comparable) an advantage
- Customer and company-oriented, independent and reliable way of working
- Organizational talent with a process-oriented and structured way of thinking
- Quick comprehension, ability to work under pressure and good MS Office skills
- Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility and initiative
- Written and spoken German language skills are essential
- Class B driving license
