ENERGY INDUSTRY SPECIALIST / GRID FEES & GRID CONNECTIONS (F/M/D)

WHAT THIS JOB ENTAILS
- You will evaluate complex energy industry issues ranging from the further development of grid tariffs to the allocation of grid connection capacities and the structuring of construction cost subsidies.
- In doing so, you will continuously expand your expertise in grid economics within a dynamic regulatory environment and address fundamental issues related to grid connections, grid access, and grid tariff systems.
- By actively driving the development and standardization of future-proof contract models—such as “Flexible Connection Agreements” (FCAs)—you will lay the foundation for efficient grid connections.
- You are familiar with the current legal and regulatory framework of the energy industry—such as the EEG, EnWG, StromNEV, and StromVKG—and always keep an eye on relevant developments and trends.
- In addition, you confidently represent TransnetBW’s interests in dealings with external partners—for example, in collaboration with other grid operators or through association work.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You hold a college degree, have several years of professional experience in the energy sector, and ideally hold a Ph.D. in a field related to the energy industry.
- Your German is characterized by written and oral eloquence, enabling you to communicate clearly, in a manner appropriate to your audience, and on an equal footing across various hierarchical levels.
- You are enthusiastic about new, challenging topics and stand out for your strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- You enjoy working in a team while also taking on responsibility for your own projects; you can reconcile differing interests in a solution-oriented manner and operate successfully in a complex environment involving internal and external stakeholders.
