As Head of Finance & Tax (m/f/d), you will be responsible for a team of around 25 employees in archiving, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax and reporting. You will shape the further development of our financial landscape, ensure compliance and set standards for modern, efficient accounting.
YOUR MISSION:
You will manage a central finance department and develop it both professionally and organizationally.
YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Leadership & responsibility
- Technical, organizational and disciplinary management of the Finance & Taxes department
- Developing a high-performance team and establishing clear processes, structures and responsibilities
- Close cooperation with Controlling, Purchasing, Legal as well as internal and external stakeholders
Accounting & Taxes
- Managing and developing all business processes in accounting
- Coordinating and monitoring accounting and company tax returns in accordance with IFRS, HGB and all relevant tax requirements
- Ensuring compliance with the EnWG - in particular the requirements of Section 6b EnWG for accounting and bookkeeping
- Main contact person for tax audits and interface with tax authorities
Strategy & transformation
- Classification and implementation of relevant developments in the finance and tax environment
- Further development of our SAP S/4HANA system landscape and prospective integration of modern solutions such as SAP Green Ledger and other
- Digitization and automation solutions
- Driving force (m/f/d) for innovation, digitalization and increased efficiency in the finance sector
YOUR PROFILE:
- You are an experienced, confident leader - analytically strong, communicatively confident and with a natural demand for excellence.
- Degree in economics, accounting, finance, tax or a comparable qualification
- Several years of management experience in finance and/or tax, ideally in an international environment
- Sound knowledge of HGB, IFRS, tax law and experience with SAP S4/HANA
- Ideally industry knowledge and experience in the regulated energy industry environment
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and a strong entrepreneurial mindset and approach
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic way of working with a clear eye for feasibility and impact
- Willingness to create and enjoy developing tried-and-tested solutions, breaking new ground and building sustainable structures
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Enthusiasm for digital transformation in the financial sector
