As part of the swb Group, Wesernetz is responsible for the electricity, natural gas, heating, drinking water and district heating supply networks in Bremen and Bremerhaven as well as the natural gas networks in Stuhr, Weyhe and the joint municipality of Thedinghausen. The core tasks of the innovative network operator with around 950 employees include the transportation, storage and metering of energy and drinking water. The expansion of the heat supply, services and products relating to renewable energies and further digitalization are key cornerstones of the company's development. Your tasks
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for all processes relating to grid usage and grid balancing. You will lead a team of 20 people, report directly to the divisional management and control the management and forecasting of the grid balancing groups, the balancing of grid usage and balancing group accounting (MaBiS, GABi). The efficient implementation of supplier switching processes, ensuring high service quality and cooperation with IT service providers are further key areas of responsibility. You will take on a multi-layered interface function and proactively drive processes forward in the interests of process excellence. As a pragmatic personality, you roll up your sleeves yourself and, as a sparring partner and motivator, take your team along with you on the common path of the energy transition.
Your qualifications
Based on a successfully completed degree in economics or a comparable course of study, you have several years of professional experience, preferably in an energy supply company. You are familiar with the specific legal and energy industry fundamentals and have already demonstrated your performance potential in a comparable position. You are a communicative, structured and results-oriented person who knows how to convince and motivate employees with transparency and reliability.
