We, FairNetz GmbH, are the utility operator in Reutlingen and in many municipalities throughout the region. Tasks
Advising and supporting management, executives, and employees on all matters related to occupational safety and health
Coordinating the implementation and updating of comprehensive risk assessments and operating procedures
Monitoring and enforcing relevant legal regulations, accident prevention regulations, and internal guidelines
Planning and coordinating safety inspections, as well as assisting with audits and investigations of workplace accidents and other safety-related incidents
Analyzing opportunities for improvement and developing and tracking appropriate measures for the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety
Collaborating with internal and external safety officers, the works council, the company physician, other specialized departments, and external service providers
Serving as the point of contact for government agencies and institutions—particularly workers’ compensation associations and the labor inspectorate—on all matters related to occupational health and safety
Development, documentation, and maintenance of processes, standards, and information related to occupational safety
Participation in the further development and implementation of the occupational safety management system
Candidate Profile
A successfully completed degree in a technical, engineering, or comparable field, or equivalent technical vocational training with relevant continuing education
Certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa) or a willingness to obtain this certification in the near future
Several years of professional experience in occupational safety and health, ideally in the energy or utilities sector
In-depth knowledge of applicable legal and workers’ compensation regulations, as well as relevant safety standards
Ideally, experience in establishing and further developing occupational safety management systems
A confident and professional demeanor, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
A strong sense of responsibility, an independent and structured approach to work, and the ability to take initiative
Proficiency in using standard MS Office applications
