As the grid company of MVV, MVV Netze GmbH is responsible for the operation of its electricity, gas, district heating and water grids in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with around 500 employees.
Your tasks
As an Electricity Grid Management Project Engineer (m/f/d), you will coordinate, monitor and agree basic operating processes and operating projects - in particular redispatch and forecasts - in the area of system management with the parties involved. You will manage and/or work on projects and be responsible for their technical and coordinative implementation. You will initiate, coordinate and implement the operationally necessary measures to ensure the redispatch processes and carry out continuous improvements to them You will manage the Redispatch 3.0 research project on your own responsibility You will prepare reports for the project sponsors, coordinate the application for funding and be the central contact person You are a specialist in your area of responsibility and develop standards for the master data, forecasting and grid calculation system and are responsible for their quality You will be actively involved in the digitalization of electricity grids
Your qualifications
Completed Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent Several years of professional experience in the planning/construction of 20 and 1 kV switchgear technology and rectifier substations in public transport Good knowledge of the necessary regulations, guidelines and building codes Confident in the use of MS Office products Analytical skills and enjoy complex tasks Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as a confident and customer-oriented manner Class B driving license
