Electrical Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer (f/m/d) for Regensburg Netz GmbH as soon as possible. You will play an active role in shaping the energy transition by contributing to the digitalization of systems and thus helping to expand the regional infrastructure in a future-proof and sustainable way. In this versatile position, you are a real all-rounder. You will mainly work in the office, but will also take on exciting tasks in our systems and networks. You will report directly to the head of department.

Your tasks

  • You will develop technical concepts for the low-voltage, medium-voltage and street lighting grid to ensure the power supply at all times.
  • You will be responsible for grid operation projects such as the digitalization of systems, energy efficiency, power line communication and redispatch.
  • You will analyze the condition of the systems with regard to ageing and susceptibility to faults and make a significant contribution to the development of a future-oriented asset strategy.
  • You will be responsible for optimizing processes in maintenance and grid operation. Your ideas and improvements will take us to the next level.
  • You will be trained as a safety specialist and accompany the implementation of occupational safety measures in the area of power supply so that we can work together safely and sustainably.
  • You will be happy to take part in the on-call duty (approx. every six weeks).

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • You have a great passion for the operation of power supply networks and are motivated to familiarize yourself intensively with this exciting field. Technical challenges appeal to you and you have the ambition to design power supply networks efficiently and reliably.
  • Ideally, you have sound knowledge of project management and are enthusiastic about managing electrical engineering projects from planning to implementation. You always keep track of time, costs and quality and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
  • You have a class B driving license.
  • You are motivated to continuously train yourself and update your specialist knowledge (cable measurement technology, C1E driving license for cable measurement vehicles, safety specialist, etc.)
  • Your solution-oriented way of thinking helps you to keep an overview even in challenging situations and quickly find pragmatic solutions. You are also characterized by your independent way of working and enjoy contributing new ideas in order to actively shape the future of energy supply together with us.
