For our System Management team in Wesseling, Arnsberg, Bad Kreuznach, Dortmund, Düren, Essen, Idar-Oberstein, Münster, Neuss, Osnabrück, Saffig, Siegen, Trier or Wesel, we are looking for dedicated reinforcement as soon as possible.

That’s what you stand for:
- You are responsible for the introduction and strategic orientation of the observability environment within the common process network platform (OT, IoT) of the E.ON Group
- You develop system design/concepts and implement system infrastructures with regard to maximum availability and security, as well as adaptation of E.ON standards
- You are in close contact with internal departments and realize new projects in the area of secure server systems in OT
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and technologies by contributing your own ideas
- You proactively identify weak points and potential sources of error in operations and implement the necessary hardening measures
- You do not see vocabulary such as Splunk, Elastic/OpenSearch, Loki, Mimir, Prometheus, Tempo or Signoz as foreign words
- You take part in the on-call duty
What you bring to the table:
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, communications or information technology, IT security or comparable training
- You have advanced knowledge of on-prem operation of logging backends such as Splunk, Elastic/OpenSearch, Loki
- You have advanced knowledge of metrics collection and visualization tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Mimir
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English and a valid class B driver’s license
- You are able to defend your own ideas against resistance
- You drive change to optimize working methods and processes
- You actively share information with others beyond your immediate environment
- You pay attention to your own well-being and a good work-life balance
- You develop a sensible approach to achieve the specified goals
