(Senior) Consultant (m/f/d)
We are looking for you for our Consulting Midstream department in Aachen.
You have learned to successfully manage projects at a large consultancy - and would now like to use this experience without the constant pressure of the traditional consultancy business. Then you should read on! With us, you will be involved in building up a young unit within an active trading company.
Your tasks - your energy makes the difference
- Consulting work - Independent management of consulting projects on energy industry topics along the value chain: from procurement to marketing and sales
- Expert work - Designing and implementing our consulting modules and transformation projects; creating sophisticated presentations and reports for customers and internal stakeholders
- Sales work - working closely with our key account management to identify consulting needs and follow-up business, joint client meetings and pitches
- Development work - helping to shape our still young unit: further development of methods, products and consulting approaches, establishing and expanding our own specialist focus areas
- Analysis work - analyzing market trends to further develop the consulting portfolio and translating them into new consulting approaches
Your profile - your facets will take you further
- Education - Successfully completed studies in economics or engineering or a comparable course of study
- Qualification - At least 3 years of professional experience in a consulting unit with a focus on energy / utilities
- Expertise - Sound knowledge of the energy industry with a generalist understanding of the entire value chain, confident handling of common consulting methods, good IT skills (MS Office)
- Sales strength - Confident appearance with customers and in pitches, keen sense for follow-up business potential, enjoy working closely with the sales team
- Personality - Structured way of working, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, desire to help shape a growing unit, business fluent in German
