As a Grid Retrofit and Integration Project Engineer, you will support the department head and project managers within the Renewables (GPR) department in the development of the hydrogen transport network by planning and implementing grid retrofit and integration projects within the existing natural gas grid. In our collaborative teams, you can effectively contribute your skills, further develop your technical expertise, and help shape the future of sustainable energy supply with us.
You will support the project management team in planning and coordinating the necessary technical measures.
For the technical planning tasks at hand, you will serve as the central liaison between the GUD departments and the general planner.
You will coordinate collaboration within the project team to address cross-disciplinary issues—such as those related to asset management, operations, or interface management with other major GUD projects—and prepare necessary decisions within the project framework.
You will coordinate Gasunie’s internal requirements and process workflows for network restructuring and integration projects, as well as ensure that documentation is prepared and filed accurately and professionally.
You actively apply the experience gained from the conversion projects to continuously improve processes and workflows.
In close coordination with operations, you ensure compliance with operational standards.
You participate in the tendering process for materials and services.
You will assist in managing and coordinating the general contractor and the material and service providers.
You will take on tasks related to coordinating shutdown planning as well as the timely commissioning of the retrofitted or newly integrated pipeline sections.
