• Acting as CFO of the project
• Developing the commercial concepts in the bidding and execution phase in close coordination with the relevant staff departments (in particular Legal, Procurement, Finance)
• Updating, implementing and maintaining the commercial execution plan
• Supporting the lessons learned process in relation to contract, profitability and liquidity
• Defining the KPIs and ensuring the implementation, monitoring and compliance with the commercial project objectives
• Manage and continuously optimize the contract and contract management
• Ensuring timely invoicing and collection from the customer
• Ensuring continuous opportunity and risk management
• Conducting negotiations in the event of contractual, schedule and performance-related deviations from the target
• Involving experts and relevant departments in commercial and legal issues
• Regular reporting on the project status to the management (margin development, opportunity/risk analysis, liquidity development, etc.)

• Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering or economics
• at least 5 years of professional experience as CPM (m/f/d) in plant engineering for projects > 100 MIO€
• A recognized project management certification (PMI, IPMA or similar) is an advantage
• at least 5 years of experience in negotiating complex legal and/or financial issues
• Very good MS Office skills and very good knowledge of project management tools (costing, budget planning, project status report, etc.)
• Business fluent in German and English
• High level of communication and teamwork skills, also in complex matrix organizations
• Willingness to travel domestically and throughout Europe (approx. 25%)
• Hands-on mentality and pioneering spirit
