Your responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development: Leading, building, and developing the team; managing resources, priorities, and processes
Project Development: Independently acquiring and managing challenging projects; identifying new areas of focus and partners
Project Responsibility: Strategic management and further development of projects (e.g., EEW funding, process heat)
Technical Development: Analysis and evaluation of technological, economic, and regulatory developments, as well as the development of concepts and recommendations for action to increase energy efficiency and decarbonize industrial processes
Stakeholder Management: Building networks; facilitating dialogue with policymakers, business leaders, industry representatives, and the scientific community
Policy Advisory Services: Identifying barriers; developing practical solutions; contributing to energy policy positions

Your Profile

A college degree (e.g., in natural sciences, engineering, business, or social sciences)
Extensive professional experience in the areas of energy efficiency, industrial transformation, decarbonization, the energy transition, and energy and climate policy
Experience in developing, securing, and managing complex projects, ideally with public sector clients, companies, or associations
Experience in team leadership and development, with a passion for building interdisciplinary teams
In-depth knowledge of the challenges and potential solutions related to industrial transformation in the context of the energy transition and climate protection
A strong analytical and conceptual approach to work, with the ability to translate complex interrelationships into actionable recommendations
Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders from politics, business, government, academia, and associations
Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and a drive to shape the future
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
